THEMIS 5.0 researchers are proud to announce the Call for Papers for TRUST-AI, the European Workshop on Trustworthy AI, taking place as part of ECAI 2025 in Bologna, Italy. This on-site workshop invites researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and industry leaders to engage in meaningful dialogue and share cutting-edge work on the challenges and opportunities of building trustworthy AI.

Why TRUST-AI?
As the European AI Act and other regulatory frameworks begin to shape the AI landscape, trustworthy AI has become more than a vision, it's a legal and societal imperative. TRUST-AI offers a vital forum to explore how we can embed trustworthiness into AI systems from design to deployment, across technical, ethical, legal, and business dimensions.
TRUST-AI will center on a human-centred and risk-based approach to trust, drawing from leading frameworks like NIST, ENISA, and emerging compliance pathways under the AI Act. The workshop aims to establish a shared understanding of what trust means in practice—both for developers and users of AI—and how to build it into systems throughout their lifecycle.
